From scripts to the production of films to the development of augmented reality and virtual reality applications and even games - at K5, storytelling takes centre stage. Because stories inspire and connect us all. Our stories know no boundaries - they take place on earth, on other planets or even in virtual worlds. K5 FAQ

  • As different as our companies and the respective positions are, so is the interview process. Typically, it looks like this at K5:

Initial interview: Short get-to-know-you interview online or by phone with responsible Team Lead: This is about getting a first impression of each other, clarifying your motivation for applying, your qualifications and our expectations for the role.

Round 2: Personal interview with the Team Lead and a team member: Here we look at our common personal and cultural fit and your specific professional background and mutually clarify further questions regarding our mutual expectations and details of the role.

Round 3: Short, usually personal meeting with the Team Lead and the responsible Managing Director, usually combined with a tour of the office and a round of introduction of your future team members to introduce yourself and get to know each other.

Offer/Rejection: We always try to make a decision and provide feedback promptly. If the personal, cultural and professional aspects are mutually compatible, we carry out a reference check and make you an offer. From then on, it's time to prepare your entry.

  • You can apply for our current vacancies under "Career" or send us a proactive application. For a convincing application, we need your CV, your education and work certificates, references if applicable, as well as a short cover letter stating which position you would like to apply for at which of our companies, when you would be available at the earliest, and what your salary expectations are. Impress us with yourself and your personality! We will contact you within a few days after reviewing your application documents. In the case of proactive applications, this may take a little longer, but even then we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

  • If you apply for an internship or a working student position at K5, the interview only takes place with the respective Team Lead. Here we look at how well you personally and culturally fit to us and how well you professionally fit to the position. Of course, we also give you the opportunity to ask us all your questions and discuss general conditions, such as possible starting dates and more. At the end of this interview, we all have enough information to make a decision.

  • Not yet. If you would like to gain practical experience, please apply as an intern or working student. If you can't find a suitable job offer, we would also be happy to receive your proactive application.

  • Further development of our employees is an important matter for us. Accordingly, in addition to the ongoing respectful and honest feedback we explicitly request from each other, there are also regular development dialogs with supervisors as well as further training opportunities if they meaningfully complement or deepen the professional expertise of our employees and at the same time create added value for the team. In addition, we offer our employees the opportunity to rotate through different teams and projects within the scope of operational possibilities in order to learn as much as possible "on the job" and to continuously expand their spectrum.

In addition, we offer our employees access to training portals such as Udemy and LinkedIn. There is a wide selection of different topics here.

  • We offer students the opportunity to write their master's or doctoral thesis at K5. The application procedure is the same as described above for interns and working students. As a rule, an internship of several months is completed beforehand.

  • Send us your complete application documents - a brief cover letter stating which position you are applying for, when you will be available at the earliest, and your salary expectations - as well as your résumé and all relevant training and work references, and ideally any references you may have. To make your resume as informative as possible, you should not only list your previous positions, but also briefly describe your tasks, areas of responsibility and achievements. If you are invited to an interview, it is helpful if you prepare yourself for the following questions: Why are you applying for this specific job, i.e., why do you want to do this exact job? Why do you think you are the right candidate for this position at K5? How will you contribute to the success of K5? We want to get to know you and learn more about your motivation, so give us an authentic impression of you and what drives you, excites you, and is important to you in working together, etc. Prepare well, feel free to ask lots of questions and take the chance to learn more about us!

  • Depending on the project, German and English are equally required. For some of the vacancies, certain language skills are required; this is then explicitly stated in the respective job advertisements.

  • You are welcome to send us a proactive application at any time!

Just send us your application documents to jobs@k5factory.com.

  • Our vacancies on the website are constantly updated. Jobs that we have already been able to fill are immediately removed from our job portal. There are no application deadlines to meet.

  • We store all data that you provide to us as part of the application process for the duration of the application process. This data is used exclusively for the purpose of selecting applicants and is processed internally by us. Only persons directly involved in the application process will have access to your data. We would like to ask you to inform us if you do not wish to continue the application process or if you wish to have your data deleted so that we can comply with your request without delay. After six months, your data will be automatically deleted unless you have given us written consent to store your applicant data for our talent pool. You can include this consent in your cover letter or send it to us by email.
